Focus Group

Hello Friends,

I’ve invited a small group of women on a journey of reflection and feedback. I’m launching a new business this spring that is stretching me in many ways. I am looking for a few women to participate in a feedback circle — to offer input, suggestions, and support. It’s a limited amount of time (a few hours over the next month) and I hope it might be illuminating in your own journey.

About the business . . .

PURPOSE:

We are ALL conduits of enormous power and wisdom that is always available, always accessible, to us . . . through our intuition and inner knowing.

We are taught to think that the answers are “out there,” or residing solely in our rational, logical mind.

We dismiss and marginalize the voice that is the expression of an unimaginable treasure – that of our intuition, our inner knowing, our soul.

Our intuition adds depth and richness to our lives, revealing hidden treasures and untapped wisdom.

Expanding our consciousness to include our intuition not only adds MEANING and PURPOSE to our lives . . . the planet needs it.

This is the work of my business, THE INTUITIVE LIFE. I want to bring the intuitive into the mainstream, equipping more people with the knowledge and practice of cultivating and trusting one’s intuition as a way of being.

My services are teaching courses on intuitive development and personal readings.

By both demonstrating the power of the intuitive as well as teaching others that they too have this innate capacity, I will help build trust in one’s intuition and destigmatize the intuitive….moving it out of the realm of the “woo-woo,” and into our everyday lives.

TEACHING

Course is a 7-week online course that is highly experiential and hands-on. The goal is to introduce various tools that serve to remove barriers to intuition, including dreamwork, psychic development, and other modalities.

READINGS

Through my readings, I model the power of the intuition.

Types of individual readings include psychic readings, dreamwork, and remote viewing.

If you are interested in participating, these are the requests:

1. A 60 minute Zoom introductory call, where I lay out the basic framework of the business and answer questions.

2. To better understand the nature of the work, I’m offering a free 30-minute reading from me (either a psychic or dreamwork session) OR I can show you an example of a remote viewing session. This is optional.

3. Offer honest feedback, either in writing or 1:1. OPTIONAL: A final group call

A bit about me . . .

I’m turning 60 this year, and I work as Director of a nonprofit that offers training and consulting to entrepreneurs. I’ve taught at Front Range Community College, and have an MBA in nonprofit management.

I have two grown daughters who live in Durango, and live in Longmont with my husband, chickens, gardens, and guitars.

I’ve had success in my mainstream career, owning my own consulting businesses, teaching coursework that blends business with personal growth, serving in public office, even owning a toy store!

However, there was always something missing, like I was trying to make myself fit into a mold designed for someone else. I knew how to play the part – even succeed – but part of me felt fraudulent and inauthentic.

Running parallel to this career track was a secret life. Since I can remember, I’ve hungered for understanding and meaning, and was insatiable in my curiosity about spirituality and metaphysics. I devoured books, courses, experiences, going on vision quests, silent meditation retreats, countless courses on shamanism, mindfulness, yoga, mysticism, sacred activism, and psychic development.

I tried to integrate this passion into my career and, as you might imagine, there was great value added – my teams were stellar and I was successful in all the metrics of growth and prosperity – and yet, my metaphysical side was always left wanting, becoming increasingly dissatisfied with it being an “add-on” to my work.

This pain of leading this divided life became acute during the pandemic, resulting in a sense of profound disorientation and feeling untethered.

I knew I wasn’t on the right path . . . but where was the right one?

The quiet and stillness from the pandemic yielded insights and a sense of urgency – that it was time to step fully into my gifts, and to start a business based on a foundation that felt true to me at a deep level….but to do it differently.

NOT try to go it alone, push and strive, or draw my cues from the external world….but to create a business based on intuitive knowing, flow, and community.
